GOLDEN RULE: do not delete any scan unless it is the very last scan

You Scanned with the door closed.

Create a new floor – for example ‘Floor 1 Cache’.

Move offending scans to the new floor.

Correct whatever the error was, for example wedge the door open.

Go back to the ‘real’ floor.

Re-scan the area.

Ensure you have good overlap with existing non-problematic scans.

When you publish the model, all scans will be back on the ‘real floor’.

In postproduction hide the offending scans.
